Suggestions for being in a Band pt. 1

Here's just a couple off the top of my head
1. If you don't like something the band is doing, tell them!!
*also, if you don't like something that a specific member of the band is doing, tell them. ex, Dave Mustaine and Metallica, it worked out for everybody.
2. If you write something you think is AWESOME, say "I think this is awesome and it should be in a song."
*If they don't agree, either go solo, or find people who support your musical interests.
3. Encourage everybody to write music for the band, that way no one feels left out.
4. Over the course of a band career, learn EVERY instrument you can get your hands on.
5. 1 genre gets boring after a certain amount of time, spice things up once in a while.
